- Altura ≠ San Bernardino community: Altura’s published Become a Member path is Riverside County. SB residents should prefer Alta Vista, Vida, CU SoCal, American First, Frontwave, California Coast, WPCCU, or Wescom.
- Vida ≠ Riverside community: Vida’s published path is San Bernardino County. Riverside residents should prefer Alta Vista, Altura, or the multi-county SoCal set.
- Arrowhead association, not current county live/work: The official eligibility page emphasizes CIF / Surfrider / family / SEG. Older materials described SB/Riverside live/work — Joinable cites the current eligibility page and labels the association path.
